Integrated Global Services has acquired Flamsprutarna AB, a Swedish specialist in turbine maintenance and thermal spray services. MandA Partners advised the family owners of Flamsprutarna on the transaction.

Headquartered in Ystad, Flamsprutarna has more than 40 years of experience supporting customers across the global power industry. Its capabilities span turbine maintenance, thermal spray coatings and specialised services for steam-turbine and nuclear applications, with a strong reputation for quality and safety in demanding operating environments.

US-based IGS provides on-site surface protection and maintenance solutions for mission-critical industrial equipment. The acquisition broadens its capabilities across gas turbines, steam turbines and nuclear assets, responding to growing demand from power producers for reliable generation, extended asset life and shorter outage periods.

Flamsprutarna will continue to operate from its Swedish headquarters with its existing team, technical expertise and customer relationships. As part of IGS, the business is expected to expand its delivery capacity and take on a greater volume of projects worldwide. Customers should benefit from a more integrated service offering and stronger coordination across turbine technologies.

The transaction combines specialist Swedish engineering expertise with the reach and resources of a US-headquartered industrial services group. It creates a broader international platform while maintaining the local knowledge and operational continuity that underpin Flamsprutarna’s reputation.
