Intermacq’s European partners meet in Amsterdam
Intermacq’s European partner firms gathered in Amsterdam for the network’s inaugural conference, strengthening collaboration and developing new cross-border opportunities.
Intermacq’s European partner firms gathered in Amsterdam for the network’s inaugural conference, hosted by the Dutch member firm, Transition Corporate Finance. The meeting marked an important step in developing a close, trusted group of independent corporate finance advisors, with each partner representing its own national market.
The programme centred on a shared priority: creating additional cross-border opportunities for clients and supporting one another in the execution of international transactions. By combining local market intelligence, sector expertise and established relationships, Intermacq’s member firms can extend their reach while continuing to provide direct senior attention in each market.
Discussions highlighted a strong pipeline of opportunities across technology, advanced manufacturing, industrial and business services, and healthcare. Together, the advisors within Intermacq have completed more than 200 deals during their careers, giving the network a substantial base of experience from which to assess opportunities, navigate local market conditions and support clients across borders.
The conference also considered how technology, particularly artificial intelligence, can be used more effectively within member firms. The focus was practical: improving research, analysis and internal efficiency while preserving the judgement, relationships and senior involvement that remain central to high-quality corporate finance advice.
With its European foundations established, Intermacq is now exploring selective expansion into complementary markets, particularly Southern Europe and North America. The aim is to strengthen the network’s reach through carefully chosen partner firms that share the same commitment to independence, collaboration and trusted client relationships.
The Amsterdam meeting strengthened the relationships behind Intermacq and established a clear agenda for the next phase: originate more international opportunities, share market intelligence more effectively and provide coordinated support for clients undertaking cross-border M&A.
