The transaction

Rolan Robotics is a Netherlands-based systems integrator specialising in robotisation, welding and product-handling automation. The company supplies turnkey applications to customers across metals, logistics, agriculture, food and other industrial markets, helping businesses improve efficiency and respond to shortages of skilled personnel.

Transition Corporate Finance acted as exclusive M&A advisor to seller Ox. Group on the acquisition by Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Daihen Corporation. The companies already had a long-standing supplier and distribution relationship: Daihen supplied industrial robots and welding systems, while Rolan represented its welding products in the Benelux. The acquisition strengthens Daihen’s access to small and medium-sized European manufacturers and gives Rolan a platform for expansion across a wider geographic market.
