The transaction
Stickee Technology is a UK B2B software and data-insights provider serving global technology businesses including Google and Samsung. Its Magpie platform helps brand owners monitor how third-party retailers present and sell their products online across more than 50 countries. The company had also expanded its workforce to more than 100 people and invested in artificial intelligence.
Headpoint Advisors advised Stickee’s shareholders on the sale to Boston-headquartered Opensignal. Opensignal provides independent network-experience and market-performance intelligence across wireless and broadband markets in 90 countries, with operations spanning North America, Europe and Asia. Backed by Berkshire Partners, the acquirer provides an international platform for the next stage of Stickee’s development. The consideration was not disclosed.

Cross-border context
The transaction connected a UK data and software business with a US-headquartered connectivity-intelligence platform. Headpoint Advisors supported the shareholders through an international sale to a strategic technology acquirer.
